Clearwater Restaurant (Newport, Oregon) is our new favorite restaurant…with Oscar as our waiter, of course! They’re located at 325 SW Bay Blvd, Newport, OR 97365 and only 12 minutes (4.8 miles) from the Pacific Surf Motorcoach Estate. Clearwater Restaurant Newport – Wild Burger
The Wild Burger is a mix of Elk, Bison, Wild Boar and Wagyu Beef. It’s topped with jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onion, bacon jam and all between a brioche bun. It was completely delicious and yes, hard to eat and messy. But wow, it was the best burger we’ve had since our trip to Montana in 2021!
Clearwater Restaurant Newport – Dessert Menu
It was a hard decision, but tonight we decided to share their Salted Caramel Bourbon Bread Pudding. Clearwater Restaurant describes it as “brioche bread, heath bar crumble, caramel, bourbon sauce” and we ordered it a la mode (vanilla ice cream served in separate dish). Ohhhhh, it was amazing!!! Sorry no picture, but you’ll just have to believe us for now. Many of the other desserts sounded so delectable, so it’s unclear at this time if we’ll order the Bread Pudding again or try something new!
View from the Table
The view from the table was very amusing indeed, with lots of sea lions sleeping and waking at any given moment! We could hear them through the closed windows when one or two would awaken them all, so I’m sure being seated outside during the daytime would be even more animated.
