Tidal Raves (Depoe Bay, Oregon) deserves to be recognized for their amazing service, delicious and reasonably priced menu items and stunning views. It’s a scenic 12-minute drive north on Highway 101, less than 9 miles away!
They are located at 279 N Hwy 101, Depoe Bay, OR 97341. The restaurant is open daily from 11am to close.
Bob took me to Tidal Raves in Depoe Bay to celebrate my 53rd birthday and it was our first visit to this oceanfront restaurant. We have been wanting to dine at Tidal Raves ever since we first purchased a site/rotation at Pacific Surf Motorcoach Estates, so I chose to finally make it happen for my birthday dinner.
FYI, they don’t make reservations and seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, you can visit their website TidalRaves.com or call them at 541-765-2995 to get on their waitlist.
Tidal Raves Depoe Bay – Starters & Soups
We were lucky to be seated at a window table and very lucky to have Ben as our server. I have heard rave reviews about their famous “Seahawk Bread” and I always like to sample the clam chowder at every restaurant in the area, so we started with a half order of the bread and a bowl of the chowder. Ben’s recommendation to dunk the Seahawk Bread in the Clam Chowder was spot on!

Tidal Raves Depoe Bay – Entrees (Beach Faves)
Next, we decided to share two entrees: Pan Fried Pacific Oysters (lightly seasoned and fried crisp with fries and house made slaw) and Fish Tacos (masa battered pacific rockfish, corn tortillas, cabbage, aioli, black beans, chimichurri rice, pico de gallo). The oysters were cooked to perfection and the fries and slaw were excellent sides that we both really enjoyed! The tacos each had a huge serving of rockfish topped with an amazing pico de gallo sauce. The black beans were delicious and the chimichurri topping on the rice was out of this world!

Tidal Raves Depoe Bay – Dessert
Every single one of their desserts on the menu sounded delectable, but we chose to share the Key Lime Pie. This was the best decision ever! Their Key Lime Pie is homemade (you can tell by the crust!) and the swirl of Mango Puree on the side is a genius combination of sweet to the Key Lime sour. Just be warned that this Key Lime Pie dessert is life changing! It will forever ruin other Key Lime Pies that you may have in the future, as nothing will compare.
